This verse appears to support the popular idea of an immortal evil devil being tormented throughout eternity, but the translation is misleading. The devil is the body of people who cast the disciples in prison and tormented them (Revelation 2:10)Revelation 2:10XWaiting for response and they themselves will be tormented "to the age of the ages", i.e. from the judgement of Christ to the beginning of his millennial reign.
