The lesson that all might “know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel” is an important lesson to learn, even today, for God has chosen Israel to be his people, and he has promised to bless them that bless Israel and curse them that curse Israel. Furthermore, it is only by association with Jesus, and thereby with Israel, that any of us can receive the blessings which God has promised to bring upon his people.
