This is another Psalm of David which speaks of Christ, expressing his trust in the LORD that he would delivered from his strong enemy who hated him. This is the same song as 2 Samuel 22

Verse 16

“Drew me” is the same original word translated 'Moses'. Just as Moses was drawn out of the water, Jesus was drawn out of the pit and saved.

Verse 42

The word faces has not been translated and wind can be translated spirit, so in English this can read "Then I did beat them small as the dust before the faces of the spirit." This symbolises the saints being attentive to the destruction carried out on the wicked as part of judgment.
