The Russian invaders (prophesied in the previous chapter) will be destroyed vs.1-6Ezekiel 39:1-6XWaiting for response and the overthrow of these mighty forces will convince Gentiles throughout the world that the God of Israel is the LORD.v.7Ezekiel 39:7XWaiting for response

It will take seven years to remove the debris of the war,vs.8-10Ezekiel 39:8-10XWaiting for response and seven months to bury the dead and cleanse the land.vs.11-16Ezekiel 39:11-16XWaiting for response God will set his glory in the land to the acknowledgement of all people, Jew and Gentile: “I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward”.vs.21-22Ezekiel 39:21-22XWaiting for response

The Gentiles will also then acknowledge that the Jews, whom they have despised throughout the centuries, were scattered among the nations by God for their iniquity v.23-24Ezekiel 39:23-24XWaiting for response and have finally been regathered for God’s holy name’s sake.v.25Ezekiel 39:25XWaiting for response Israel will then dwell safely in the promised land,vs.26-27Ezekiel 39:26-27XWaiting for response knowing their punishments had come from the LORD v.28Ezekiel 39:28XWaiting for response but also that he will henceforth be with them to bless them for ever.v.29Ezekiel 39:29XWaiting for response
